Make Today What You Think It Should Be

Title catch your attention?

Want to learn how?

Guess what?

You already make every day exactly what you think it should be. The only difference is that your level of expectation may be a tad bit lower than it ought to be.

If you wake up, get out of bed and stub your toe on the bedpost you might already be predisposed to thinking the day’s not going to be that great. If you don’t do something to change that outlook you probably won’t be disappointed.

On a day in and day out basis you get exactly what you expect out of life. Not what you wish for, but exactly what you believe is going to happen.

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating; whatever you focus on is exactly what you get. The problem is that most of us don’t spend enough time focusing on the results we want and as such we end up getting the things we don’t want because that’s what we’re focused on.

Weaknesses or Strengths, What Says You?

Feeling unhappy over yourself? Hating yourself for who you are?

Why must you be feeling so? To just be very straight with you, this is the act of a fool.

Now, even if the whole world is going to look down on you, you should never look down on yourself. The more they are going to look down on you, the more you should prove yourself to them, isnt it? And I am sure your family and many other loved ones would never ever look down on you. So the more you shouldnt let them down, isnt it?

Understand this. Strength or a weakness of yours, which is going to be which, is still too early to be deciding now. For all you may know, your weaknesses may just become your strength and your strength, your weaknesses to become. In life, there is not definite power, not definite rights or wrongs. What that matters is how you are going to put to use what you have within yourself.

Believe In Your Dreams!

Believe in your dreams was the encouragement all over Disney World. What a great message to share with the visitors enjoying a fun family vacation! It was a great addition to the excitement of witnessing how the world of fairytales unraveled right before our eyes. Funny thing, but I believe that I was more excited than my daughters. I will also say that, I was not the only adult that felt this way. Many of my friends back home confessed to visiting the place several times. In such a magical place the believing in your dreams message certainly seemed to fit in perfectly.

Walter Elias Disney (December 5, 1901–December 15, 1966) was the founder of Disneyland. He started with his first cartoon character Mickey Mouse and move on to creating many more. Later Disney World was created. In my opinion Mr. Walter was a person that we can truly call an exceptional leader. Not only was he gifted with a great imagination but he was able to materialize them in order to share them with the rest of us. While keeping in mind Mr. Disney’s visions, I can easily see why in Disney World so many of the fascinating characters encourage visitors to believe in their dreams.

Use Self Belief To Shape Your Own Destiny

Of all the things that go towards shaping our destiny, it is our belief in our own abilities which has the greatest influence. Our level of self belief determines whether we succeed or fail to achieve our dreams and ambitions. As Henry Ford said “If you think you can, you’re right. If you think you can’t, you’re right.”

I was watching a program on the Biography Channel the other day which illustrated the truth of Henry Ford’s words and highlighted the importance of self-belief. The subject of this program dropped out of the educational system without a degree, in fact, he quit school before he even reached college age and left school with woefully inadequate qualifications. The reason for this academic failure was a combination of dyslexia and general lack of interest in school work.
