Fear – Fear Is An illness

This is a meditative prayer to be said each night for one month before you lay your body down to rest for the night:

“I see tremendous colored balloons filled with helium. These balloons are carrying all of my troubles, all of my frustrations, all of my heartache up and away. These balloons float higher and higher away from me until the sky is a clear blue. Now, I am free and have no fears.”

We must educate ourselves to think along these lines each evening before releasing our spirit to the Father. The Father works to cleanse the mind of all ill-conceived thoughts during this period of time. Enter into blissfulness with the Father, allowing your body, soul, and spirit to rest with Him.

Love is the demonstration of the Lord’s way of life. That is the way He meant mankind to live – with love of oneself and for all of mankind. To preserve life and to elevate the quality of life is to rid one’s mind of illness. When we understand how to rid our minds of illness, we begin to understand how the Father meant us to live.

The most pressing problem for mankind is to learn how to get rid of fear. Fear is the devastation felt and seen among men. Fear is what causes illness, for it places the complete body, the psyche, into disarray, setting loose forces within the psyche or mind of mankind known as “psychosomatic illness”.

We must look ahead without fear, having deep faith. The Father observes the cause of the unrest within us and He sets up guards to diffuse the problems. We should have faith and try to understand His teachings, the teachings of truth. Fruit comes to those who believe; fruit comes to those who try to help themselves by exploring their own mind, by simulating the Lord’s mind within themselves.

Real Valuable Panic Attacks Information You Must Know Now

Panic attacks information is important for every individual because they can happen at any time and under many random circumstances. Though panic attacks information indicates that they make the victim feel alone, they can occur even when the victim has adequate company, in familiar or unfamiliar surroundings, and even during sleep. As per panic attacks information, the typical symptoms include a faster heart rate resulting in more blood flow and consequent reddening of the face, choking, nausea, fear, and lack of physical and emotional self-control.

The level of fear during a panic attack is extremely high and this fear causes many reflex actions in the body that are not always controllable. Due to the high heart rate, many people mistakenly assume a panic attack to be a heart attack and rush to emergency rooms claiming that they can no longer breathe. Men and women are both affected though the proportion of women happens to be slightly higher. People who ignore panic attacks information are likely to develop a persistent condition that leads to panic disorder.

Freedom From Fear

Fear, Phobia, Dread, Panic, call it what you will, everyone of us has known what it is like to have been afraid of a situation we have found ourselves having to confront at one time or another.

It may be a fear of flying, heights, public speaking or a myriad of other things that can ruin our lives, and that of our family and friends as well.

But what is it that makes us have these feelings? Why are we scared of some scenarios but not others? Why isn’t everyone afraid of the same things? Well obviously not everyone is the same, we all think and behave differently therefore deal with situations differently as well.

So having said that how can we overcome our fears, the key word is THINK because believe it or believe it not we all have the ability to control what we think. We can turn negative thoughts into positive ones, making us feel more confident and able to deal with life and all it can throw at us.

Overcome Your Fear of Public Speaking

by: Dana Bristol-Smith

Knocking knees, butterflies (who came up with that word?) in your stomach, sweaty palms, quavering voice. We’ve all been there – some of us more than others. I’m going to share with you some of the tricks of the trade to help manage and reduce your anxiety before and during your presentation. These methods are tried and true and have helped many presenters.

The first time is always the worst and it gets better from there.

In 1991, I gave my first presentation to a large audience. My audience was 150 fifth and six grade students in an outside courtyard of an elementary school. I was scheduled to give a 35-minute student assembly that explained a collection of international artifacts (masks, musical instruments, hats, and other interesting items). It was a program designed to increase multicultural understanding. I was so fired up about the topic, and thought that it was such an important subject that I thought I could deliver the program.

Well, of course everything went wrong! The wind picked up and knocked some of the items off the display table (the kids thought this was funny, I didn’t). The microphone had that horrible screeching feedback. My knees shook the whole time, my voice quavered, my heart pounded – and I felt like it was going on forever. I got through my content somehow and looked at my watch. I gave a 35-minute presentation in 15-minutes! I think that I probably forgot to breathe.
