How to Change Your Life Consistently

Author: Vincent Sandee

If you have been looking for practical and insightful steps towards a good Life Change, and even turn your life around, then keep on reading. We will talk about three main basic steps from knowing what you want, to how to get there, and finally what are the levels of the action you must take. First of all:

KNOW WHAT YOU WANT!

We have been overwhelmed with information since birth and we have accepted realities that do not belong to us. If you want to be happy you must decide now to live beyond the “shoulds” that your mind suggests as someone else’s voice in your head. Where is the voice that tells you “you should do this…” coming from? Is it really yours? Are you making your life a way to satisfy someone else’s voice? If so, stop for a moment and think again. Ask yourself if you really want to do what you “should” do. If the answer is “no”, then reevaluate your choices.

Do You Want to Reinvent Your Life?

Author: CoachIyabo

In midlife, many smart and accomplished people find themselves in a new and precarious situation. They realize that life is no longer “life as usual.” For some it shows up as a general dissatisfaction, a general malaise that they cannot quite put their finger on. They are dissatisfied with their jobs and with they have this impending sense of doom, scared to live out the rest of their years in the same manner that they have been living it.

Usually, something pretty major happens that is the big “straw” that breaks the camel’s back. There is a huge loss of some sort, such as:

~End of a marriage or a long term relationship.
~Layoff from a job.
~Loss of your home to foreclosure.
~Bankruptcy.
~Diagnosis of an illness such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure or heart problems.
~Empty nest syndrome.
~Failure of a business.
~Caring for aging parents.
~Death of one or both of your parents.
~Death of friends or siblings prematurely.
~Loss of a pet.
~For women, the onset of peri-menopause or menopause.
~Any major life change.
~Realization that you may never have children.

Your Daily Life Can Change

Author: jasbirshyam

Today’s world is reaching a crisis point, and while many of our social structures are still intact for this moment, there will come a time when major changes will need to occur in the way we are living our lives on a day to day basis. This bold statement is shared not to create alarm and fear, but rather to awaken a sense of responsibility within all of us. This awakening has already begun, and most people are now aware that our current way of life is causing harm to the precious Earth we live on. The question now for many of us is … what can I do?

Our lives are already chock full of challenges. Just managing the day to day realities of life is for many of us a full time job. The growing complexities of life that have developed from the accelerated pace of change can at times feel overwhelming. We hear news reports of natural disasters, wars, poverty, disease, environmental pollution, and a seemingly endless number of new challenges … the amount of overwhelm can cause us to numb ourselves, and shut ourselves off from the realities that are happening around us.

How then do we help our struggling world? What can we do? The answer to this question lies within our hearts, and is much bigger and more important than we may realize. There are certain obvious things that we can do on a daily basis to conserve energy, recycle, and be more environmentally conscious. Thankfully, more and more people are stepping up and creating change in their daily habits in this way. This helps a great deal towards beginning to reverse the cycle of abuse to the Earth and lack of respect for her resources. There is a larger change that needs to happen however, that is at the root of the world’s problems. It is one that we all participate in unless we choose not to, and this has to do with our consciousness.

Embracing Major Personal Change

Author: John Vespasian

Millions of people spend their days trying to convince themselves that change is impossible. They feel trapped by their profession, job, spouse, friendships, or financial obligations, to the extent that any attempt at improving their situation seems destined to fail. Time goes by and, after a while, they give up all hope of amelioration.

There are many reasons to experience such feeling of being driven by external events. If you look around, you might find some justifications for immobility, but do not let them make you feel powerless. The truth is that, every year, thousands of people throughout the world undertake such fundamental changes. Here are some examples:

1. Sell their house in the city, move to a village on the coast, and build up a new life there.

2. Drop out of their current circle of friends from one day to the next and seek out people with other values or interests.

3. Go through their kitchen, throw away all unhealthy items, and commit to purchase exclusively wholesome food in the future.
